A quick-moving wildfire close to Yosemite Nationwide Park erupted Friday afternoon and prompted evacuations whilst firefighters made progress towards an earlier blaze that burned to the sting of a grove of big sequoias.
The Oak Hearth started at about 2 p.m. southwest of the park close to Midpines in Mariposa County and shortly unfold to 1,600 acres, based on the California Division of Forestry and Hearth Safety.
